A network for Finnish engagement

The Team Finland network, which has been operating abroad since the beginning of February 2013, consists of 72 teams around the world, which bring together all Finnish authorities, publicly funded organisations and other key parties with ties to Finland. Each team has a work programme and a designated coordinator with information on the network's local activities and services.Finnish Prime Minister Jyrki Tapani Katainen leads the Team Finland Network

Team Finland promotes Finland and its interests abroad - including Finland's external economic relations, the internationalisation of Finnish businesses, the country’s brand, and inward investments. The network aims to bring all key authorities and organisations under one umbrella, improve the efficiency of their cooperation, and provide customers with an easy access to a wide range of services. The network provides information on activities and events related to Finland's external economic relations, contact details for the Team Finland network, and its web site at team.finland.fi offers a gateway to the services offered by the participating organisations.

The network also promotes external economic relations, boosts the country's brand abroad, assists in the internationalisation of business, and attracts investments in Finland. At the heart of the network are three ministries – Ministry of Employment and the Economy, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture – together with publicly funded organisations and other Finnish networks abroad, all operating under the ministries' guidance. The Team Finland network is steered by a group chaired by the nation's Prime Minister.
